John H Place Ltd was founded in the 1940's as a supplier of machinery to the engineering sector, in 1971 a new company was formed as John H Place (Steels) Ltd.

Since then the company has grown to be one of the leading steel stockholders in Northern Ireland, providing a fast, friendly service for over 30 years.

Our ever expanding stock range prompted us to open an outlet in Belfast in the late 90's, where customers can collect material off the shelf if our regular delivery service does not suit.
